Gletscherwasser 240 CPU Water Cooler - 240mm

The new Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 240 is a premium AiO cooler made in collaboration with renowned professional overclocker Roman "der8auer" Hartung. They have been optimised to offer high performance cooling yet run almost in sillence. This balance has been achieved thanks to a dual-chamber pump design as well as a copper base plate and PWM fans from the Wing Boost 3 ARGB series. Alpenföhn have also made aesthetics a priority, the unit includes addressable RGB lighting and exchangeable logo plates to provide added style to your system.

The Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 240 in detail:

There are multiple features that enable the Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 240 to achieve effective cooling. For one thing, it has a copper base plate, which is highly heat conductive and multiple micro channels spread across this surface to ensure that excess heat from the processor is quickly dissipated.

Additionally the pump/cooler has an extremely well design duals chamber structure, which helps ensure quite operations, with a volume of just 17.8 dB(A)

The PWM-controlled 120 mm fans help keep the unit running quietly. These are optimised to pass through up to 92.6 m3/h (54.26 CFM) of air with up to 2.19 mmH20 static pressure.

Outstanding design and user customisable logo plates

Aesthetically the Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 240 also excels. The unit is entirely black except for the digitally addressable RGB lighting on the fans and pump housing. In fact the black backdrop of the unit only serves to make the illumination elements look all the more striking.

Alpenföhn include a remote control so users can easily adjust the RGB LEDs present on the AiO cooler. Alternatively RGB elements can be controlled via a starndard 3-Pin-RGB (5V) connector on the motherboard. This enables users to synchronise the Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 240's illumination with any other RGB elements within the system.

As an added touch Alpenföhn have made the cooler's logo plate adjustable. It can be rotated in 90° increments and so can be adjusted to match the cooler's orientation when mounted. Several prefabricated logo plates are included but there is also a transparent one for user-made designs, such as team logos.

Finally, Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste is also included to ensure excellent thermal conductivity.
